Luke Smith is an agricultural professional with over a decade of experience in the food and agriculture sector. As a PhD student, he blends a strong academic background with practical expertise in field operations, project management and agricultural extension. He’s committed to leveraging technology to promote sustainable practices and support local communities. He has experience in Agriculture Youth Development, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Horticultural projects and digital marketing strategies.

Luke’s leadership extends to his community roles, where he served as the Caribbean Regional Coordinator for the Thought For Food® Foundation, building partnerships and leading a team of ambassadors. He also provides technical consultation and facilitates workshops on food security with WHYFARM as an ICT & Technical Officer.
